The energy around campus leading up to and during the game is incredible. Couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere!

Dartmouth Night, celebrated the Friday evening before Homecoming, officially began in 1895 to promote class spirit and welcome first-year students. Per tradition, the freshman class constructs a bonfire, which serves as the focal point of the night’s festivities. The next day, alumni and current students alike flock to Memorial Field for the annual Homecoming football game.

Homecoming weekend at Dartmouth is one of the best experiences I’ve had at college. Watching the bonfire the night before the big game and then getting the chance to play in front of thousands of friends, family, and alumni is just unforgettable.
